From mixing a homemade BBQ sauce to preparing wedges and vegetables, this cook-along gives children opportunities to practise basic cooking skills. Families can work together, follow each stage of the recipe and enjoy a meal they’ve helped to make.

Have your ingredients and equipment ready before starting, and follow the recipe provided alongside the video.
Adult supervision is required throughout. A parent or trusted adult should oversee raw chicken preparation, sharp knives, boiling water and the oven, and check that the chicken is thoroughly cooked before serving. Wash hands and clean utensils and surfaces after contact with raw chicken, keeping it separate from ready-to-eat food. Check ingredients for allergies or dietary requirements.
