From cooking pasta and combining ingredients to whisking a cheese sauce, this recipe introduces children to useful kitchen skills. It’s an opportunity to follow instructions, build confidence and work together to prepare a meal the family can enjoy.

Adult supervision is required throughout. A parent or trusted adult should handle boiling water, draining pasta, hot pans and the oven, and help with the grater and tin opener. Wash your hands, follow safe kitchen practices and check ingredients for allergies or dietary requirements.
